King Tut: not the only boy king

My eight year old son has become absolutely obsessed with Ancient Egypt, because he’s learning all about it at school. Particularly he loves King Tut, probably because he was a boy king. James has got it into his head that if King Tut can rule supreme, then so can he, which now involves him walking around with a ‘pharaoh cape’ on and shouting various orders. It was quite adorable for the first few weeks, but now that he insists on sitting apart from us at the ‘pharaoh’s table’, it’s gotten a bit ridiculous. I can’t wait for his school to move onto something else quite quickly.
