Miter saws cut angles for moldings in archways. There are many options out there, but I would only recommend a few brands. Makita is by far the best maker of miter saws, and are very cost efficient. They are saws for everyday construction workers. The only other brands I would recommend are Bosch, and Dewalt. These companies make the best miter saw for the money and have never given me any problems in all my years in carpentry. The best saws can give you cuts of more than foryt five degrees. Nowadays, the lighter the saw the better, as well as self cleaning capabilities.
