The Best Investment We made was a Fence

Last year was hard on us. We had invested a lot of time and money into our corn fields and found that wild animals were eating up our profits. We had to take action fast. We decided to put up an eight foot tall chain link fence, and fortunately that solved and corn protection. When your primary money maker is corn, you have to do whatever it takes to keep it safe. If you do not, it is like just tossing money down the drain. In this economy we just cannot afford to do that. The best investment we made was putting up the fence.
