Last week I found myself telling the kids off for leaving their room in such a mess; there were toys scattered even at bedtime. They were trained to clear up before getting into bed but that seems to be falling by the wayside recently. The eldest one (5) started throwing a tantrum and then sobbing; I felt bad, but to make it worse his little brother said quietly: “Ma where do we put them?” I opened the toy cabinet and stuff just fell out. Sheepishly I told them both I would buy a tall cabinet for some of their toys and clothes. “You can help me choose one tomorrow,” I told them.
