When the Google Nexus cell telephone was released back in January numerous would-be customer felt left out simply because the new wise phone was only available on AT&T’s network and for T-Mobile as well. Anybody who wanted to use it with Sprint or Verizon Wireless was left out in the dark as these 2 providers use various technology (CDMA) for their wireless network. Google published a note on their website for this wise cell phone that the Nexus One would come to Verizon Wireless this spring. Spring came around, but not the Google telephone for Verizon. Then a rumor emerged. A new cell phone called “The Incredible” would be available for Verizon buyers soon, but no official word from Verizon until the middle of April. Then much more details emerged and a release date of April 29th was published. The new intelligent telephone would be named Droid Outstanding and run on Android 2.1 as the phone’s operating system.
