We have to embrace new things. If we suspend ourselves with the same ideas we will never be able to see any improvement at all and that is boring. It would be so nice if we can see to it that we would get new and bold stuff and still come up with a place that everyone would love. I have proven that it would be possible because I got the pendant track lighting and all the pretty changes that came with it. I would say that this is going to be so much better this way. Me and my dad finally made it to the fishing lake and we began setting up camp. It was too late to fish so we pitched our tents and rolled out the sleeping bags. My dad got the Hoser Classic boots out the pickup truck and placed them in the boat for tomorrow. We ate some sandwiches and had my favorite, s’mores. We got in our tents and went to sleep so we could get up early to get the good fish. If I thought I could I would stay out here for the rest of my life, just build a cabin to sleep in just for me.

My son Jordon is going to be in his first wedding. His best friend Lance is going into the air force and is marrying his high school sweetheart before he leaves. Lance has asked Jordon to be his best man. Jordon is thrilled but at the same time a little shy and is worried he will not give a very good best man speech. I told Jordon that he has known Lance and Ali for most of his life and that when he sits down to write his speech the words will just flow. I also told him if he needs help I will help him.

Last week I found myself telling the kids off for leaving their room in such a mess; there were toys scattered even at bedtime. They were trained to clear up before getting into bed but that seems to be falling by the wayside recently.
