Unexpected Fun Job

When I was recently promoted at my place of employment to office manager, I knew I would be taking on a lot of unexpected jobs.  The one I didn’t anticipate however, was ordering all the business conference furniture. To be honest, I had a ball. I enjoyed getting all the swatches on the chairs and evaluating the tables and credenzas.  Call me weird, but I had fun deciding between oak or pine. It was a challenge picking out the chairs and depending on leather seats versus cloth ones.  Now, I just can’t wait until I get to decorate my very own office.  Unfortunately, I strongly suspect I won’t have quite the budget to work with.
