I always face a new cooking year with relish, if you’ll pardon the pun. It seems every year I get more new ideas, and find more new recipes, than I can ever hope of handling. One thing I do love to do is to keep adding to my cookware. My next objective is to save for a cast iron saucepan. My Mum had one, and I used it when I first learned to cook at home. In fact, she still has it and uses it several times a week. I just hope I can find the same sort of quality as hers.
